Michael E Zielinski
D.O.
Board-certified physician Michael Zielinski, DO, specializes in family and integrative medicine. He offers exceptional care to patients at Integrative Family Medicine and Urgent Care in Grand Blanc, Michigan, alongside his long-term practice partner, Steven Galliway, PA-C.
Dr. Zielinski has also completed training in functional medicine, taking a holistic approach to whole-patient health that he incorporates into his daily practice.
He completed his bachelor’s degree in 1980 at Oakland University in Auburn Hills and Rochester Hills, Michigan, winning the Wilson Award for most outstanding student. He earned his medical degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan.
Dr. Zielinski went on to complete his residency in family medicine at Phoenix General Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, followed by a fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
He completed a functional medicine fellowship during his time with holistic health care provider Parsley Health in New York City. Dr. Zielinski also enjoyed a successful practice in Lapeer, Michigan. Patients benefit significantly from his 35 years of experience.
Dr. Zielinski is a ReCODE Bredesen practitioner. The Bredesen Protocol® focuses on reversing cognitive decline in patients with dementia. Dr. Zielinski understands the devastation left behind by diseases that cause dementia because his mother had the condition. He offers hope to patients affected by dementia using his expertise in ReCODE.
Dr. Zielinski also performs osteopathic manipulation and myofascial release techniques for musculoskeletal disorders and has treated thousands of patients successfully.
Some of the many other areas where he excels include cognitive issues, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), dysbiosis, leaky gut, toxin exposures, autoimmune disorders, all aspects of family medicine, urgent care, and musculoskeletal issues.
After his time working as a virtual physician at Parsley Health, Dr. Zielinski is pleased to return to in-person family medicine at Integrative Family Medicine and Urgent Care.

Heather Jones
FNP
Dr. Heather Jones has been a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner since 2016 and has over two decades of clinical experience. She brings a thoughtful, evidence-based, and patient-centered approach to her role at Integrative Family Medicine and Urgent Care, where she provides comprehensive care for adolescents and adults managing acute illness, chronic conditions, and preventive health needs.
Dr. Jones earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Michigan–Flint and holds national certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her practice experience spans primary care, internal medicine, corporate wellness, and remote patient monitoring, with a strong emphasis on chronic disease management, women's health, and telehealth.
Her clinical interests include treating complex illnesses by addressing the root cause through functional medicine modalities. She is passionate about supporting patients in restoring health by combining traditional care with holistic, evidence-informed strategies to optimize wellness and long-term outcomes.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Jones serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. She has received numerous honors for her leadership and teaching, including the Mae Edna Doyle Teacher of the Year Award in 2025. Nationally recognized for her scholarship in telehealth education, she co-developed Visual Visits™, a video series training healthcare professionals in virtual physical assessment techniques.
Known for her compassionate care, Dr. Jones values collaborative relationships with patients and their families and is committed to helping them achieve their health goals through accessible, integrative, and personalized care.

Kendra Burmeister
FNP
Integrative Family Medicine and Urgent Care would like to introduce Dr. Kendra Burmeister DNP, FNP-BC to the practice. Kendra is originally from Deckerville, Michigan but has been a resident in the neighboring communities for over a decade. Through her experience, as a collegiate student athlete and caring for ill family members, she developed a strong passion for functional medicine, as she strongly feels daily lifestyle and activities have a great impact on someone’s health.
Kendra received a Bachelor's in Health Sciences from Oakland University, a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy, and a Doctoral Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Michigan State University. She has eight years of experience working in medicine, with three as a registered nurse in the emergency department. Outside of work she enjoys jogging with her dog Millie, sewing, gardening, baking, and traveling to new places with her husband. Kendra is so excited to meet the members of the community and care for them and their families.

Kelsea Drzewiecki
FNP-BC
Kelsea Drzewiecki, FNP-BC, is a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong commitment to providing holistic, patient-centered care. Board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Kelsea brings a comprehensive approach to primary and preventive healthcare for individuals and families across the lifespan.
Kelsea earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization from Saginaw Valley State University, building upon a strong clinical foundation developed through years of hands-on nursing experience. Her professional background includes work in primary care, urgent care, and aesthetics, where she has developed a reputation for attentive listening, thorough evaluation, and evidence-based treatment planning.
Known for her warm, approachable demeanor and collaborative care style, Kelsea places a strong emphasis on patient education, empowerment, and continuity of care. She is particularly passionate about helping her patients to achieve longevity through a root-cause approach.
Outside of clinical practice, Kelsea enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with her husband.
